Get To Know Me:
Brian Eichenberger

Brian has spent the bulk of his career in media, first on the radio, then behind the scenes running promotions and marketing departments. In 2016, he joined news outlet Insider Louisville, eventually helping transition them into a nonprofit organization focused on public service journalism.

In early 2020, Brian joined the Metro United Way team in a role meant to help inject some of his non-traditional thinking into the way MUW approaches raising money.

He specializes in working with businesses and individuals who are looking for a way to support the work of Metro United Way beyond a traditional workplace campaign.

Fun Facts About Me:

  • Brian’s favorite non-work subjects: his wife and kids (9 & 13), rock music, books, and film.
  • Brian has used COVID-19 quarantine time to get a lot better at cooking, learn a little about gardening, and put hundreds of miles on the beat-up bicycle he found in his garage.
  • Brian loves talking about storytelling – and telling some tales himself. He hosts two podcasts and writes and consults others on the art of story via a project he calls Story Guys: http://www.wearethestoryguys.com.

What Now?

During these times of uncertainty, there seem to be more questions than answers, but one thing we know for certain is going back to normal isn’t good enough.
