Kids & Families Count

During the COVID pandemic this past year, Metro United Way invested more than $700,000 in emergency support for many nonprofit and school partners in Southern Indiana. While this is significant, there is still so much more to do to ensure all kids and families in Indiana have what they need to thrive.

We address both short-term – COVID relief and recovery – and long-term need in Clark, Floyd and Harrison counties, working to address root causes of issues that negatively affect Hoosiers.

WE CARE ABOUT
SOUTHERN INDIANA.

Here are some of the ways we are seeking to help our community be the best it can be:

  • Donations Stay in Southern Indiana.

Every dollar donated from Clark, Floyd and Harrison counties STAYS IN Clark, Floyd and Harrison counties.

In addition, your dollars could be matched by other generous corporations and foundations that we’re connected to and you can be assured they will be invested back into our community to address the biggest needs facing our neighbors.

  • Volunteer-Led.

Our volunteer leadership works hard with great thought, purpose and strategy to reach recommendations for our community investments so that kids and families in Southern Indiana benefits the most while maximizing all dollars donated and invested.

  • TRUSTED.

Metro United Way adheres to stringent standards of accounting and financial reporting for health and human-service organizations. Our organization is audited by an external firm every year; our complete financial information, IRS tax form 990 and Donor Bill of Rights may be reviewed on our website at the link below.
