The K.E.N. Fund, The King – Elaines’ Nobility Scholarship Fund
We have set up a memorial scholarship fund in KJ Rhodes' name, called The K.E.N. Fund, The King – Elaines’ Nobility Scholarship Fund to honor his life and legacy.
As retirees of Metro United Way, you helped lay the strong foundation with your work, time, talent and financial contributions to help us be the organization we are today. Metro United Way has come a long way in many areas since many of you have retired, especially in giving.
Metro United Way retiree Mary Sullivan recently said, “I never thought during my 42 years at Metro United Way that giving would become so easy by credit card. Though, I never thought I’d be there 42 years either! I’m giving through this website dedicated to us retirees and I hope you will join me.”
Together we can make the counties of Bullitt, Jefferson, Oldham, and Shelby in Kentucky — and Clark, Floyd, and Harrison in Indiana an example for the rest of the nation (and world, for that matter). We have the know-how, the resources, and the gumption. Now we just need people like you to help make it happen. Please consider making a donation. Every bit helps.
Last year wasn’t a sit-back-and-relax kind of year. Together with our agency allies, corporate donors, volunteers, and individual donors like you, we were able to accomplish some amazing things. Let’s do it again this year and the years to come.
