Event: Mayor's Give A Day Week of Service

Help our neighbors prevent and be prepared for home fires. Volunteers work in teams of 3 and provide fire safety education and install free smoke detectors where needed. Everyone's skill level is needed. One volunteer shares the educational material --- helping the family to plan escape routes out of the house. The second volunteer completes necessary paperwork and the third volunteer installs the free smoke detectors. Date is Saturday, April 8, 2017. Shifts are 8:30am - 1pm and noon-5pm. Sign up for one or both shifts. Event location is UAW-862, 3000 Fern Valley Rd., Louisville, KY 40213. Supplies, materials and lunch is provided.
