About
Come volunteer in a very heart warming, rewarding and fun environment!

Home of the Innocents' Kosair Charities Pediatric Convalescent Center cares for children who are medically complex. These children have medical needs that require 24 hour skilled nursing care.

Volunteers serve a vital role by lending a helping hand to staff with getting kids from here to there. This may be through simply pushing their wheelchair, to helping them get on the bus for field trips. Volunteers also join in on various activities at the Home and on field trips or outings, helping to keep the kids engaged.

Volunteers also have the opportunity to come visit with a child or two. This visit may consist of reading to the kids, watching a movie, taking them for a walk in their wheelchair or just sitting with them.

This opportunity is available for junior (age 13-17) and adult volunteers.

Groups are encouraged to get involved as well.
