Join us at Americana to help plant flowers, pickup and improve the grounds around the Center (including the playground, soccer field, and garden), and help reconstruct the rain garden! There is plenty of work for all and something for everyone. Please arrive any time between 10:00am and 3:00pm at Americana. No need to have experience in gardening.

Americana World Community Center is launching a new computer class on March 1, 2017. The class will teach computer basics to Americana participants, such as web surfing, resume building, e-mail, and accessing online services. Americana serves 5,000 refugees, immigrants, and low-income participants every year. The class will meet once a week on Wednesdays from 5:30 to 6:30 and go till late May.

A degree in computer science or related majors is not required, just some simple computer skills and a desire to help those in need.

If interested in volunteering please email with any questions and/or to sign-up.
