At Metro United Way, we identify the most pressing issues in our community, and we bring together the people and organizations needed to address those issues head-on so that we have thriving kids, strong households, and an equitable community.

Twice a year, our nonprofit partners fill out a needs survey sharing with us the items they need the most. This winter season, one of our most requested items is winter weather items, such as gloves, socks, hats and more!

Imagine a world where everyone has the winter clothing and gear they need to stay warm and safe. Proper cold-weather gear supports health, dignity, and confidence. Without it, people face not only the dangers of the cold but also isolation and exclusion – barriers that limit full participation in daily life and community.
