For about 25 years, several hundred employees from General Electric Appliances invest an entire day to give back to their community – called the “GEA Fall Project.” This year 700+ worked, painted, sweated, built, planted, hammered, cleaned, raked, moved, organized – which doesn’t even cover everything! This year they chose 11 projects in their own neighborhood – Russell. From Central High School to Byck Elementary to Chestnut YMCA to The Healing Place to Louisville Central Community Center to Junior Achievement and more! GEA employees SHOWED OUT for our community! We are fortunate and proud to partner with GEA in this along with other initiatives throughout the year – what wonderful friends they are to Metro United Way and our communities!
