We know that a good night’s rest is important to a child’s academic success and overall health. Adverse effects caused by lack of sleep can include aggressive behavior and bullying, poor grades, short attention span, and disruptions in cognitive function. Getting enough sleep can support more creativity, enhance mood, fight sickness, and positively impact overall health.
In 2020, it was more important than ever to provide kids with what they need to succeed. Money raised during Giving Tuesday supported our next Build-A-Bed build which was rescheduled from December to March 5 and 6, 2021 because of safety concerns around the COVID pandemic.
