What are you hoping to gain from joining the Housing Alliance of Louisville?*

In addition to our monthly meetings with the full HAL group, we also have several subcommittees that regularly meeting.

Policy & Advocacy: educates and advocates around local legislation mostly on the city level but sometimes state level
Alternative Funding: reshaping how the community thinks about rental assistance by highlighting how housing instability impacts other sectors (employment, healthcare, education) with a goal of securing funding to assist people with limited incomes to maintain their housing with a focus on upstream interventions
Steering Committee: sets a clear direction for HAL with annual goals and how each subcommittee contributes to those goals
Direct Service Providers: wrestles with the complex issues working with people experiencing housing instability, including resource aggregation, efficiency of services, and interrupting cycles of housing insecurity
