Making lasting change requires us to raise our voices – in big and small ways – to ensure elected leaders understand the challenges in their communities and take action. I am pleased to invite you to a powerful opportunity to do just that – Live United Day at the Capitol on Wednesday, February 15, in Frankfort from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Metro United Way, in partnership with United Way of Kentucky, hosts Live United Day at the Capitol to highlight the education, economic mobility, and health policies most impacting our communities. Through personal meetings with your legislators, remarks from legislative and executive leaders, and meet-and-greets you’ll advocate for the issues most important to YOU and share the work of United Ways fighting for children and families across the Commonwealth.
We want to stand by your sides in Frankfort and will provide free charter bus transportation to and from the Capitol as well as lively preparation beforehand.
Please RSVP no later than Friday, February 3.
