Metro United Way examines history of racial disparities through interactive learning simulation

The Racial Wealth Gap Simulation takes participants through centuries of United States’ policies that have most powerfully accelerated or impeded progress based on race. It helps us all understand the racialized impacts of laws that have determined access to opportunity, resources, and power — and highlights what we can do to change them. The simulation is offered in a safe, confidential and engaging space to help elevate the conversation around policies that have been in place for decades and affected generations of families in our community.
