Metro United Way’s Day(s) of Action event was the biggest ever in 2026! More than 375 volunteers helped over 3 days to pack 3,000 backpacks and 5,000 healthy snack kits that were distributed to 33 nonprofits serving kids across the Greater Louisville region.

Metro United Way and the Muhammad Ali Center welcomed 500 volunteers during The Greatest Give Back on Thursday, September 25, 2025. Volunteers packed 2,500 personal care kits and 2,500 laundry supply kits that were distributed to 63 nonprofits across the Greater Louisville region. This helps meet the need identified by nonprofit leaders in our community. Thank you to event sponsor, Yum! Brands, and everyone who came out to help!
