As a member you'll be connected with opportunities to expand your social and professional networks through volunteerism, meaningful conversations, and a variety of special programs and events.

As a long-term, loyal member of Metro United Way's Tocqueville Society, you have already invested generously in transforming our community and improving lives. We would like to invite you to remain deeply involved at a level that recognizes the fact that your financial picture and available time may be changing, even though your commitment to giving back remains as strong as ever.

Transitioning to the Tocqueville Sustainer level provides you greater flexibility in navigating your retirement by allowing you to make a smaller annual cash gift and combining it with a planned gift, ensuring you are making a difference now and in the future. For example, you can give a $5,000 annual cash gift and a $50,000 planned gift. Many Tocqueville Sustainers also enjoy a greater level of engagement with Metro United Way by becoming part of Retire United, Metro United Way's program for retirees and soon-to-be-retirees who are interested in meaningful volunteer opportunities, social activities, and thought-leader conversations.

Examples of a planned gift can include an estate plan bequest, a charitable gift annuity, a gift of life insurance or appreciated stock. A member of our Major Gifts team will work with you to determine which option works best for you.

Please contact Metro United Way at (502) 292-6225 for further information.
