Staying ahead of the learning curve
The importance of education is something we’re all familiar with. Kids who graduate and continue on a path of lifelong learning experience more success. It’s that simple. Now let’s make it happen.
Students only spend 20% of their lives in school, so it’s important that learning continues outside of the classroom. By establishing a system that helps steer local students toward high-quality out-of-school time programs, Metro United Way hopes to provide a stronger educational foundation to help decrease the high school drop-out rate and increase the pursuit of college degrees, thus benefitting the entire community in the long run.
