- In partnership with NCFL and Community Coordinated Child Care (4-C), our Ready for K Alliance has provided online and in-person professional development to child care providers seeking to enhance their skills in engaging and collaborating with parenting adults. In total, we have had 201 educators registered and 84 have completed and received ECE-TRIS credit. 390 family engagement kits have been distributed to eligible educators to provide to students and families they serve.
- Recently, a family enrolled in our Ages & Stages (ASQ) Hub shared they did not have any toys for their young child or a means to purchase them. Our team provided them with ideas on how to use regular household items such as toilet paper rolls, spaghetti strainers, measuring cups, and more to create toys and enriching activities for their children.
- Through the Hub’s pediatric Ages & Stages outreach, we have received 95 referrals from healthcare providers.
- There are 148 children in our ASQ Hub that started at two months old and stayed in the program until they graduate at 5 ½ that have completed 12 questionnaires, activities, and more.
- Our team ensures we have visibility in the community and promotes the ASQ Hub to health care providers, public library events, and other relevant events.
- We are getting ready to wrap up our Youth Success program year with our End of Year Celebration at the end of this month with 186 Youth Success Network Partners. That is a 40% increase from the 110 youth serving organizations that started the year with us.
- We have provided 32 professional development opportunities this year to support quality youth development principles to our Youth Success Partners free of charge with over 400 participants.

- We currently have 36 households representing 106 individuals enrolled in our Southern Indiana Homeownership Program.

Since the conception of this program in March 2022, we have realized three new homeowners and eight additional financing pre-approvals.
- Through coordination by the Louisville Asset Building Coalition, our Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) volunteers served 8,430 individuals during the recently completed tax season which returned about $11.5 million in tax refunds to hard working families, including $3.34 million in EITC (Earned Income Tax Credit) returns. 128 volunteers donated 18,432 volunteer hours to this effort.
- As a partner with Louisville Metro Government, we are pleased to report that, since 2010, Bank On Louisville has supported the opening of more than 100,000 bank accounts. Our community has achieved the lowest unbanked and underbanked rates since 2009 with a 4.2% recent decrease in the unbanked rate and a 5.2% recent decrease in the underbanked rate. Ten financial institutions now offer Bank On Certified accounts.
- Our financial coaching efforts continue to achieve growing impact. Our three service providers have now met with 187 individuals, of whom 140 have been seen more than once. Of those 140 participants, 92 have shown improvement in one or more goal area, listed as follows:
- 20 have increased their income by a median of $8,074 per year
- 64 clients increased their savings by a median of $679
- 30 clients increased their credit score by an average of 19 points
- 56 have decreased debt by a median of $1,915
- In the first quarter of 2024, our partnership with the Siemer Institute served 201 families to promote a higher level of financial stability and thereby increase the probability their children can be successful in school. More specifically, 73% of these families have reached a level of income stability, 75% have achieved housing stability, and only 2% have had to make an unplanned, unsupported school move. - We hosted United Community Social Needs Think Tank earlier this month. To date, there has been 100% satisfaction rate with over 150 registrations. We have upcoming United Community Lunch & Learn in partnership with UniteUs and Homeless Coalition of Southern Indiana on May 23,2024.

- In April, our Black L.O.V.E. Philanthropic Partnership (BLPP) marked a significant milestone as it welcomed its newly selected cohort comprising 23 Black-led organizations driving social and economic change. These dynamic organizations convened for a launch retreat, engaging in strategic sessions facilitated by the BLPP team, including esteemed strategist Dr. Pamela Jolly. Concurrently, the BLPP Advisory Committee convened for an in-person meeting, aligning efforts and charting pathways for impactful collaboration.
- Young Men United remains steadfast in its commitment to lifting our community. They are actively engaging with the 2024 class of juniors through a series of purposeful meetings and engaging activities, forging meaningful connections and empowering the next generation.
- We hosted the final session of our Impact to Advocacy series. Representative Jason Nemes and Senator Cassie Armstrong shared their thoughts on the 2024 General Assembly and interim goals. We thank them for being so candid and for sharing their perspective with the more than 60 MUW advocates who were in attendance.
