How to run a successful campaign in 6 easy steps

It all starts with a plan. The below materials provide a roadmap to help you and your team think through the timing and logistics of your workplace campaign. United, we plan to make a difference!

  • Campaign Timeline & Best Practices

Which Pledge Method is best for you?

Metro United Way connects businesses and their employees with volunteer opportunities that are individually meaningful and collectively impactful. Our service initiatives meet immediate need, strengthening our community while providing significant benefits to your employees and company. We are proud to be your partner in corporate social responsibility.

  • Collection Drives

Your team collects supplies requested by our nonprofit partners. This project allows for a great deal of flexibility and customization for your team.

  • Onsite Projects

We bring the volunteer project to you! You provide the volunteers and cover the project cost; MUW will handle the project details including ordering and preparing all needed supplies. We offer two versions of onsite projects:

MUW will bring all supplies to your project location, set up and stay onsite to lead your project. We can give instructions, share why your project is important and engage with your team. When the project is completed, we help clean up and then deliver your completed kits to the receiving nonprofit agency.

MUW orders and prep everything you need for a successful project and you pick-up or we drop-off project supplies (pre-project) and completed kits (post-project). We are available virtually to explain your project’s impact and provide instructions.

  • Parking Lot Pick-Up Projects (PLP)

This project option is a great way to engage employees who are working remotely, going beyond virtual projects and allowing them to involve their family and friends in the volunteer experience. Employees pick up kit supplies and instructions from our parking lot or yours they complete the kits at home and then return them for delivery to a nonprofit agency.

  • Offsite Projects
